1. What training programs do you offer?
We offer Adult Peer Support Specialist (APSS) certification, Community Support Associate (CSA) certification, and Continuing Education (CEU) workshops, all designed to meet Kentucky’s 908 KAR 2:220 curriculum standards.
2. Who can enroll in our training programs?
Each of our programs has its specific qualifications, which can be found on the corresponding application pages.
3. How long has The Training Center been operating?
Since 2020, we’ve successfully trained over 2,000 Peer Support Specialists across Kentucky.
4. What is required to complete registration?
Registration is not considered complete until all three of the following are submitted:
– A completed application
– A peer reference form
– Payment of the registration fee
5. What is your refund policy?
Registration fees are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to a future training event date if you’re unable to attend your scheduled session. Please contact us in advance to request a transfer.
6. How do I apply or register?
You can apply directly through our website. Forms for the CSA exam, APSS training, CE workshops, and the peer reference are available online.
7. Do your courses meet state requirements?
Yes. All our training programs meet or exceed Kentucky’s official standards (908 KAR 2:220) as set by the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.
8. Can organizations partner with you for training?
Yes. We collaborate with organizations across Kentucky to develop peer support programs, providing certified instruction and curriculum support.
